Who is FatBoyFinn?

 Finn Smart-Weeden started racing 30cc minimotos at the age of six years old – moving up to 50cc miniGPmotorbikes at eight. His first ‘big track’ was Mallory Park on the miniGP 50 and a revelation; it suited his riding style so much better than the kart tracks used for minibike racing.

 Finn moved up to full sized bikes and competed at Bemsee when he was twelve, advancing to the BSB Junior SuperSport class on a Kawasaki Ninja400 the next season culminating in winning the title in 2023 – the youngest ever rider to win that class and the only privateer to do so.  

Finn also won the NGRRC Junior SuperSport championship in 2021 & 2022

 In 2024 Finn moved up to the new SportBike class at BSB, finishing 9th overall against largely older and more experienced riders 

For the 2025 season Finn was recovering from serious illness and major reconstructive shoulder surgery, missing several rounds but managing to score points in half of the races he competed in. 

In 2026 Finn is competing as part of the only official Suzuki race team; PowerSlide Racing, again in the British SportBike class.
